Our Story

Butterfields Racing Team
Founded in 2017, Butterfields Racing Team was established by a passionate group of female cyclists and sponsors. Originally a local team focused on fostering women’s participation, BRT grew into a nationally recognised team known for its dedication and success within the Australian cycling community.

Van Dam Racing (p/b Butterfields)
Van Dam Racing, the older brother to BRT, has been at the forefront of South Australian men's cycling for nearly a decade. Known for providing opportunities to male riders, VDR emphasises balanced development—both on and off the bike.

The Future
Racing under a common brand and identity the teams have both excelled immediately, with podiums, and wins at all levels domestically in Australia. We are excited to continue to provide development opportunities to riders throughout Australia, paving the way for a new era in Australian cycling.
